Young Man at Play

Playing is most often associating with childhood. It strikes me (ha ha, bowling… strikes) as strange to think about it this way: I always want to play. I have found myself in situations where I was made to understand that playing is just not suitable for a young lady. Stuff that!

Here is portrayed a young man indulging in bowling: a socially accepted form of playing. Interesting how conventional it is and how rigourously symmetrical it looks. This was a bowling place in Stockholm where I ended up spending most evenings So King Pin! So Buffalo 66!
